Dream Engagement Ring Wishlist

I’m all about open communication when it comes to the ring you or your partner will wear for the rest of your life. So I wasn’t at all surprised when I read Wedding Wire’s 2018 report and learned: 

“While 52% of individuals are surprised by the ring, 1 in 3 show their partner photos of the ring and/or style they like.” 

I know this from talking to my clients in person. Whether it’s a few images subtly sent from instagram or pinterest to an explicit shopping list, It’s more common than ever for folks to have a say in their engagement ring. But sometimes, they still want the purchase and subsequent proposal to be a surprise. 

That’s why I created The Dream Engagement Ring Wishlist. It’s a helpful tool to spark as much or as little of the conversation as you’d like. It’s chock full of the design choices you’ve probably got an opinion about, and maybe a few things you didn’t think to consider!

The Dream Engagement Ring Wishlist was born of the questions I ask my clients one-on-one as they begin the ring shopping process. In it we cover the basics of ring design— Gem Shape? Carat Size? Metal Preference? — the must-know details for your jeweler such as ring-size, and even a bit of ethics, such as if you’d prefer an antique diamond (or maybe not a diamond at all!) 

Use this form to record as much of your preferences as you’d like. Then, pass it to a confidante (Sister, Mother, BFF) or use it to strike up that convo between you and your partner.
