Maternity Leave 2023
I’m excited to announce that I’m expecting my second child at the start of April. And this time around, I will be taking a proper maternity leave.
Long time fans may (or may not!) know that I worked through my first maternity leave. My son was born in April of 2020. It was 1 month into the pandemic shutdown. And despite my best laid plans to to step back and take a break, I worked hard to keep the business afloat during those uncertain months. I answered emails after hours and packed and shipped orders during his naps. Thanks to your orders, I made it through. But I’m not sure I ever fully recovered from those demanding months.
It’s important to me that I take a proper break this summer, both for my family and for myself. But thanks to my incredible team, I’ll be able to offer most of our products uninterrupted. And, we even will continue to release new products while I am away! I’m excited for you to see what we have up our sleeves.
Here’s how my leave will affect your orders and services:
Online Orders
The studio will remain open to fulfill and ship your online orders!
This does not include wedding bands & diamond bands, which are made to order and require my touch. See lead times for those items below.
In-Person Shopping & Bridal Appointments
The last day for in person appointments will be April 14.To better accommodate you I have added a few late evenings to the calendar each month that you can now book! Book an appointment here.
Wedding Bands & Diamond Bands
Order by March 15 for any orders needed April 15 - September 4We will continue to accept online orders for Wedding Bands & Diamond bands during my leave but the delivery date may be as late as September 4th, 2023.
Engagement Rings
In Stock
In-stock engagement rings will ship with our normal lead times, just like the rest of our website orders!
Customized Engagement Rings
Order by March 15 for any orders needed April 15 - September 4I will not be quoting or creating any customized engagement rings during my leave. Customized Engagement Rings – and any associated correspondence or appointments – will resume in Fall of 2023.
